i tried opening the avi on ipad and mac and doesn't open on either.
Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with the file. I'm a Mac user too, so I clicked the link and it downloaded. I could open it with IINA and VLC. I've converted it to a MOV file in case that helps. Let me know how it goes.
Our EQS SUV does not have any of that going on. I would recommend taking your car in for service and seeing what they say about that. I don't think it's normal.
We’ve all experienced it - that moment when we’re walking by our cars, and something catches our eye. Suddenly, we’re leaning in, stepping back, tilting our heads, and even doing some impromptu squats, all in an attempt to decide whether we are looking at an optical illusion. It’s like we’re performing some kind of interpretive dance to figure out what’s going on. And let’s be real, sometimes we even try to rationalize it, hoping it’s just a figment of our imagination. But deep down, we know the truth - that little something we saw is real, and it’s bugging us. And no, I’m not actively seeking out imperfections to complain about; they seem to find me! Moments like these remind us that even the most minor details can grab our attention and ignite our frustration. Take, for example, the Mercedes Benz hood emblem sitting ever so slightly askew of the three-pointed star in the center “grille.” It’s enough to drive me bonkers, at least for a minute! Has this been noticed by anyone else on their EQS?
*******Until I actually click on the images, some of them appear to be on their side. However, when I select them, they display correctly. I was wondering if this is how they appear to others as well. Thank you!*******

I KNOW!!! UGH!!! I just can't seem to shake off the feeling that the emblem on my car is slightly off-center, or maybe it's the 3-Point Star on the grille. It's like they're taunting me or something! I've tried my best to make sure my pics are dead on center, but no matter what I do, it still looks slightly off. And I'm not the only one who's noticed this. I've had three independent, objective, and OCD people like myself look at my car, and they all agreed with me! It's like a game of spot-the-difference, but the difference just won't go away. Although the gravity of this matter appears to be significant, Ultimately, it's a trivial matter in the grand scheme of aesthetics. But hey, it's all in good fun! It's just one of those things that catches my eye every so often, and then I forget about it... until it decides to haunt me again!

your pictures range from slightly off center to way off center. here's 2 of the straightest ones i could see though... i've traced lines from logo to logo... looks correct to me.

Well, it seems we have a bit of a disagreement regarding the centering of the photos. Maybe they are a tiny bit off-center, but I wouldn't say WAY OFF. Tough crowd! But let's not get too off-center ourselves, shall we?😁 You know what, I barely even thought about it today; I have some other minor car problems to deal with now - it's always something! LOL
My first issues with my EQS: Infotainment and Telescopic Steering Wheel
So, I'm having my first actual, not just perceived, mechanical issue with the EQS. The telescoping steering wheel of my EQS is malfunctioning, failing to move up or down despite hearing a clicking sound from the mechanism. I have researched online for possible solutions and found several instructions on replacing the parts for other MB models that experienced the same problem. Still, I have not found any specific guidance for the EQS.
Additionally, I've also observed twice now an issue with certain functions/features being accessed by the infotainment screen not recognizing whether the vehicle is stationary or not. Meaning that certain functions and features are disabled or inaccessible while moving. In my scenario, stationary typically means stopped but either using Break-Hold or just braking. If I'm going to be doing something prolonged, I would place the car in park. For the sake of this example, I was stationary by way of being stopped at a traffic light. During a recent drive, I was attempting to access my personalized sound profile of the audio system. However, I kept getting a prompt that the, and I'm paraphrasing, "function not available unless stationary." This was never an issue in the past. The next opportunity was at a traffic light; however, the system did not recognize that I was stopped and parked. Instead, it gave the same prompt, which should only happen if someone tries to use the setup assistant to personalize their Burmester sound system while the vehicle is moving. I had already set up my preferences under my profile, so there was no reason for the system to give this prompt. After I arrived home and tried again, I managed to get it to recognize that I was parked after several attempts, but my settings were gone, and I had to set them up again. I suspect this issue could be software-related, but I cannot find any connection to the failure of the telescoping mechanism. Has anyone else experienced these or similar issues? I plan to contact the service department tomorrow, regardless.
I've attached two different formats of the same video that show the infotainment issue.

ha, sorry, it's just very hard to see if the picture isn't dead straight. for example on this one you can see it's skewed (i've highlighted position left/right).

yup! my suggestion for taking the pic... get the car on level ground... to lessen distortion, stand back quite a way from it, and then zoom in. if the phone/camera can show the 'level' of the pic before shooting, even better.

I've got bigger problems than this at the moment! 🤬
