Fisker Ocean

Not much talk about these (I also haven't watched/read any of the reviews from the past 2 months when they launched), but I do find them to be pretty nice looking. From what I remember, they were decently priced or have a subscription program.

Why would anyone buy this, for collectors status? I wonder how much the roof glass costs.

I have a few friends working at Fisker and a few at Faraday. They aren't planning on staying there long term :p

Same could be said for Rivian and Lucid.

same could be said about any maker trying to get off the ground...

but yeah, fisker's been at it so long with nothing to show for it in terms of sales. i do hope they make it though because competition is good and the ocean seems like a solid effort.

why would anyone buy a new vehicle? Because they like it?

They are produced at Magna Styer factory in Austria, they have a ton of cool features, and they have produced over 5k so far with monthly production going over 2k... in few months they will outproduce Lucid.

Not at all the same thing lol, Rivian and Lucid are moving product. I see a couple Lucid Airs a week now, and Rivians are everywhere here.

Seen my first one a few weeks ago. Think it's a decently styled SUV.

This video just came up in my Google News feed for whatever reason. Seems like there was a local Fisker Ocean car meet in NJ recently.

2nd I've seen in the wild. I like it. If they are still around when my Polestar lease is over, I will seriously consider it . . .

I'm in SoCal (and will be here until Wednesday), and I haven't seen any yet. Yesterday I drove from the Corona area to Mission Viejo, than back through Irvine...aka EV heaven, none yet. Today and tomorrow I'm going to be driving through Orange county, I'll keep my eyes peeled!

bitkahuna 12-11-23 12:59 PM

they're too cheap for orange county. :D

I saw a whole truck load of them heading to Northern California on hwy 5 today while heading home. Looks like we are going to be adding Oceans to the mix here in NorCal!
