Just more painting Toyota in a negative light when concerning electric vehicles.
I wish the narrative was different, but it’s Toyota’s to control.

Why? Because they didn't jump blindly into EV's when their hybrids have been selling like hotcakes for years?

You guys act like the finish line for EV's is in 5 years. Last I checked, we're just in the beginning stages..

Nearly 20 percent of new cars sold are EV'S. In 2019 it was only 1 percent. Hybrids are losing sales to Tesla, just pull up sales numbers from Toyota, don't take my word. In 5 years it could be too late. Take a look at Research In Motion who ignored similar growth from Apple and Android.

I've laid out my reasoning why I think Toyota miscalculated the landscape, if you have figures disputing what I'm saying, I would love to see the numbers. I've been been wrong before, but on this issue, the writing is on the wall

i would like to take a class that analyzes the psychology of corporate leaders like those of Kodak, RIM , and Toyota and how they managed to stand in their own way and worst of all justify it. It really just boggles my mind how that happens.

Yeah, because you're the CEO running the company. You know everything about what's going on inside the company of Toyota.

Why would you frame it this way? You're basically saying innovating and leading the industry is "rushing in blindly". That means Toyota rushed in blindly with hybrids.
