Concrete work is big $$$$$. They should have troweled in stress lines it would crack but you wouldn't "see" them.

So there is a Tesla nerd fest going on right now looks like fun but also a good dose of cringe, search up #teslatakeover

People mod their Tesla's not sure how I feel about this

Unless the front of your house is South facing (here high noon sun is to the south) or you have the type of roof that slants on both sides, you wouldn't even see the panels. From the front view of my house you can't see the panels unless you are actively looking for them

Unfortunately the way my house faces, each of the solar companies I got quotes from says they have to go on the front part of my house/roof. My roof slants on both sides, front and back, and it’s two stories so from the front of the house all you would see are solar panels on my roof because of the pitch. Nothing wrong with that just not for me personally.

Yeah, I know what you are talking about. There are lots of houses around my area that have the roof slant front and back, so the panels are totally visible from the front. To me that wouldn't be an issue, but for you the cost vs benefits are probably not worth the aesthetics. Here Solar panels are a plus, so if you were selling your house, you would want buyers to see them! They add value to the property and potential buyers see "free electricity" :D

It's not worth it for me, I keep my HVAC on Auto, plus I have fan speed mapped to my steering wheel scroll. That and in the past I've "pre-ordered" stuff from start ups, a year later I'm still waiting. Forget about getting your money back, the money they are collecting is used for R&D. Right 👍. I'm fine with the controls the way they are

I'm finding the same thing there is no need to futz with the climate controls constantly. Still, some people will jump all over this assuming it becomes a real product.

I think that's actually pretty neat.

It's definitely for someone who is used to dials and buttons. The issue is, if you order this, will you actually get it. Lots of startups raising money through preorders and not delivering.

I know. Model 3 was a preorder from a startup :)

that 'knob' is pretty neat. could be used for a lot more than a/c.
would be great if it controlled the screen.

LoL I actually think the Cybertruck is the real thing. Yes, it's release has been promised for a long time, but if I was one it's buyers, I would want them to fix all the issues and continually improve it before it's delivered. Since it's a "want" and not a need vehicle, people should be happy Tesla is hopefully ironing out all the kinks

anyone else read about tesla building more delivery places on native american reservations so they don't have to deal with car dealer franchise laws. interesting!

Like the Casino's did. Here in California, Casino's are banned by most cities and counties (with exceptions), so you find them either on an Indian reservation or across the border in Nevada. Smart move :)
