No lighting...

Default No lighting...

Couldn't find an answer to this question. The area where you shift transmission gears isn't lighted.
Find that strange even though you can see what gear you're in on the lighted panel. Gear not the right term, but
think you know what I mean.

You need to check the wire that connects to the illuminating gate. If the wire is connected then the illumination film is bad.

Need to take to dealership because warranty is up in May. Do I understand that if wire is
connected and light not working... that the "film" is bad?

Wonder if they replace film that i will have rattle, your feedback please!

If you have warranty then go to dealership, they will fix it for free.
Yes, probably the film (light) is bad.

They have to remove the piece of wood around the shifter and illumination gate. Those pieces should not rattle but you can tell them to put some felt around them, just in case.
