Default ES Aero parts fitment FAQ

In an effort to utilize the collective knowledge of CL members who have added aero parts to their car, it would benefit other members who are contemplating the purchase of parts to know some details up front.

If possible, please include the following info:

Car - 1ES (90), 2ES (92-96), 3ES (97-01), 3ES (02+)
Car Year - Just in case there is some quirk about a certain year.
Part type - full kit, bumper, sideskirts, spoiler, roof spoiler, grille, lips, ...
Part make - the manufacturer of the part
Part construction - polyurethane, FRP, fiberglass, ...
Source - where did you get the part
Price - if available
Fitment - crash bar shaving, crash bar removal, bolts alignment, any quirks on how it lines up, smoothness of surface, prep work requirement, ...
Installation - any install tips?
Durability - how it holds up (driving mishaps, scrapes, bumps, ...)
Notes - anything else to add

Let me know if there is anything other useful info that I've left out.

Thanks.

Car - 1996 ES300
Part type - Front lip, sideskirts, rear bumper, trunk wing
Part make - Front lip: Aero Magic, sideskirts/rear bumper: Autocouture Exclusive, wing: Wisesports style (not sure if it's real)
Part construction - FRP, wing: fiberglass
Source - CL member from Japan
Price - kit: about 1,300 shipped; wing: 250 shiped
Fitment - Everything fits great, no problems. The shop told me that the aero parts were very high quality and easy to work with. He also said that he had to cut part of the rear bumper around where the quarter panel and tailight are to get it to fit right. The wing fitment is a little off but nothing too noticeable.
Installation - The front lip only needs two bolts. The sideskirts were bolted on with 4 bolts and double side tape. Rear bumper used existing bolts I think. The wing was double sided taped on.
Durability - No mishaps yet
Notes - The best part about the kit is that it makes your car look so much lower. Even with 1.6" lowering springs, it still looks stock height (imo). Everyone loves how the wing looks but the only problem with it is that it is really HEAVY. Sometimes I have problems with leaving the trunk open when putting something inside so I'd have to hold it up with my hands and sometimes my head.

Car - (92-96)
Car Year - 1996

Part type - Tsunami Rear Bumper bolt and Side Skirts. Signature Evolution Front Bumper w/Fog's.

Part construction - The products by Tsunami are all high grade Polyurathane. I chose the rear and sides as this because they have a nice mix of durabilty and looks.
the signature evolution bumper is Fiberglass. NO where rear the durablity of polyurathane, nonetheless designed perfectly to fit the car---->Strait from Japan.
Every thing went on perfectly. the sides needed a little work in their proper alighnment. They are sealed with a polyurathane glue. The front end just bolted on.

besides that, have myself a brand new looking car.

Default front bumper mod

can you mod the 2nd gen es to have a 3rd gen bumper? does it bolt up? is it possible? how cost effective is it?

Goal: is to mod my older gen es to have a new 3rd gen look......to look clean but not to go to farout!

shoot me some input!

Im just a 15 yr old with a 96 ES in black. though i cant (legally) drive yet, I already i wanna make my ES look good without being a major ricer. I was wondering if TRD has kits for the ES line. I also want to keep the same concept of the stock look.
