BAWLEX you'd pay 10K for a car that doesnt even look like its worth 10K nevermind its 10 years old?
I'd much prefer a AUTOMATIC 1997 Es3
I buy and sell cars all the time....IMO its worth 7K max
just my 2 cents

Well thats your opinion which doesn't mean much have you even seen the car no everybody that see my car cannot believe what year it is i was lucky to pick it up in such great shape. The condition of a car does make a difference in a sale when ever i sold a car the first person to see it bought it. I just sold my mustang a year ago i live in new york the guy came from pennsylvania with dealer plates and took it home and i got $3800 for a 1990 mustang lx 5.0 with 115,000 miles you look it up it was only worth about $2200. Maybe if i keep it 2 more years it will be worth $200 if i'm lucky and being your the big car salesman you can turn around and sell it for $400 and double your money. I love people that buy and sell cars they talk so much sht thats what their trained to do.

car for sale
well I am thinking about selling my 93 es300. Just hate to do it.
I bought it from the dealer about 6 years ago. Which when I first got it the dealer had to replace the transmission on it. Then about a year ago All at once things started to happen. Had to replace the cv joints, the motor and have it repainted because someone keyed the car. Well about two months ago it was driving good then the o/d started flashing. I took it to a transmission shop the said it need a new transmission. For about $4000 I said no way so then I took it to the dealer they said take it over to the used car dept. and trade it in. I said no way. So now it sits in my driveway. Since then I have found out it is just a solendid in the transmission that is bad but when I got it back from the dealer someone had lend on the raditor top and cracked it. So need one of those now too! I love this car but maybe time to just but add in paper and sell. It has 137,000 on it and it had 29,000 when I bought it. SO what should I do?

My mother just purchased a 1999 Lexus Sc300 finished in Platinum Silver Metallic with black leather, 59K.
Lexus Certified pre-owned include 3 year warranty, road side assitance blah blah blah $20,999 -$4,000 for her 92 es300 138K
I'd suggest the same to you

Pearl white/black leather with a 5 speed is a sweet combination, back in 92-93 when Lexus tried pushing the ES as a sports sedan. That metallic red with the black leather in the 92-93 was pretty sharp, too.
I'm not a manual transmission fan myself, but I know there's plenty of people on CL who are, especially in the SC forum.

Sheesh...This thread was doomed from the first reply. Play nice.
Now I have to post a link to the rules. By me posting a link to the rules, you all now have the opportunity to have intimate and complete knowledge of them.
Because I have provided this knowledge, I will now assume that you all know the rules...So if you break a rule in the future, then it will be easy to act swiftly to dispose of any problem threads in which you all may be involved or ban any members that flaunt the rules found via the hyperlink below.

1. Email or PM the moderators of the forum in which the offensive comment is posted, directing them to the individual and thread in which the problem occurs. Use the "Notify a Moderator" button on the bottom of the offensive post to accomplish the same thing. Moderators will look into the issues and take the appropriate actions.
2. Resolve the problem between both of you via email or Private Message (PM).
