I was briefly considering switching to getting the BEV since I really enjoyed the test drive I did. The handling was so smooth and responsive even in normal mode. The pick up was amazing! I had no issues with merging on a highway or whipping around corners, breaks felt really good as well. It was like a tomb inside very quiet barely could hear anything or tell that the car was even on… I wouldn’t get the premium bev though only the luxury trim. But my only draw back is the charging habits. So back to hybrid for me unless the hybrid drives drastically different from the electric. Also do t mind putting premium if it requires it…. I chalk it up to the “perks” of having g luxury car… especially because with a hybrid I would t be filling up as much anyway…

I got a bit confused after seeing a video with a 300h badge and a 2.0L engine mentioned. I was under the impression that the 300h was replaced with the 350h, which uses the current 2.5L A25A‑FXS engine.
Maybe a pre-production driving impression released recently?

Other markets get a 300h as well.
Nice find. Checking them now. Thanks!
**You're welcome!
The new hybrid model uses the same old-proven A25A-FXS engine as the current 300h which has a very seamless transition between ICE/EV. That said, the BEV should definitely drive smother and quicker than the HEV given no ICE present.

This YT video just dropped. Drive impressions embargo until May 27, 2026.
For those who haven't test-driven an EV before, I expect a very positive feedback, as there's a noticeable difference in driving dynamics and quietness between BEV / HEV. It will be interesting to see how it compares to other EVs on the market.

*** Im hoping that it drives just as nicely! I was told it may be a tiny bit louder due to the engine but should be just as smooth..
** China market , India market they have 2.0 L engine...NA is the only one I think that has the 2.5. The impressions posted are from actual produced cars, as their markets got their cars way before we will.

Also Eastern Europe gets the 2.5.

I watched their impression last night. It is very interesting. Can’t wait to see how everybody thinks both styles drive soon. For myself I really am interested to see how much different the hybrid is because other than the fact that it has an engine specs look like they’re somewhat similar
