Default Seat Heaters …

I love the electric seat heater on my 2025 ES300h, mainly because the lumbar seatback area delivers therapeutic relief to my lower spine. However, the heat delivered to my buttocks is annoying. Anyone know if the heater in the seat bottom can be disconnected, unplugged?

The heater in the bottom portion of my seat went out and the back portion continued to heat properly. The fix was to replace the heating element in the lower seat. So, I suspect it would be possible to disconnect that portion only. It might be a tough job though, since I was told that they had to remove the leather from the seat to get at the heating element.

It is possible to unplug it. Remove the back part of the seat and you will find the plug.

Wow, that is some good news! By “back part of the seat,” I assume you mean the hard plastic piece with a map pocket that would be accessible to a back seat passenger. Any idea how to remove?
Thanks for a good response! I was expecting to have to remove the entire seat.

You remove the two screws on the bottom and pull towards down and you at the same time.

A couple of years back I had to get a seat bolster repaired...badly stained, creased, and worn through next to a sewn seam. The shop leather guy (an independent customizing shop) removed the seat and I managed to get some pix. I use Mothers Rubber, Vinyl, Leather cleaner/protectant.
