Lexus will never have both, the L Logo and the Lexus name embossed. I like the lights though and if there is an option to retrofit these lights, I might go for it but I'm sure it won't be. I love my es 350 2023
So the rear lights are like the new RX. I like them but I prefer the current ES rear lights, the L shaped brake and indicator are so unique on the road. The two tone is horrible though.
I’d bet the farm almost none of that is coming to the 24 and it’ll be almost identical to the 23. Maybe the black roof and maybe the wheels on a special F model.
Below is the latest in Lexus styling cues in the GA-B Yaris-based Lexus LBX.
Note that the Lexus UX is GA-C Corolla-based, while NX is GA-K Camry-based.
Notice the OEM blacked-out canopy? No need for vinyl-wrap!
Horizontal strip of lights front and rear.
Clamshell hood and clamshell hatch.
Raised waistline beneath C-pillar.
While metallic orange has made a comeback.
To me the black roof and pillar combo works more on smaller/lower end economy cars. *The reason that is done is usually to lower visual height of taller vehicles. Vehicles whose inherent design needs lowering to create an illusion of sporty* Please do not do that to the ES...
that being said i like that little crossover. Lexus needs more cars on the low end to bring people to the brand... i suspect it may be a bit too little too late though... there is a small crossover EV that's coming out that's going to crush the entire segment of small cross overs..........................................
Hello everyone. It's that time of year when Lexus makes owner's manuals for the next MY private on their website before announcing the product. here are the 2024MY ES Manuals. Please note that this can only be opened on Desktop and not on mobile. I quickly scanned it and I could find no change whatsoever. The pictures that were posted earlier in another thread are undoubtedly fake and just a poor render of the RX taillights on the ES.

I did a pdf diff check between the 2023 and 2024 versions of the ES250, ES350 Owner's Manuals and the ES250, ES350, ES300h [Navigation and] Multimedia Owner's Manuals.
The result for the ES250, ES350, ES300h [Navigation and] Multimedia Owner's Manuals was the 2024 version fixed a missing space character typo and added a footnote on page 62:
*1: Vehicles equipped with RSA(Road Sign Assist) will display the speed limit on the Heads-Up Display.
The result for the ES250, ES350 Owner's Manuals was a few more changes but nothing I would consider really significant:
1. 2024 added Cyber Attack Risk section on page 6.
2. 2024 moved to page 118 cold weather info on the outside mirrors from 2023's page 120 and tweaked the text to cover more than just power mirrors' automatic mode so it now reads:
■ When using the outside rear view mirrors in a cold weather
When it is cold and the outside rear view mirrors are frozen, it may not be possible to fold/extend them or adjust the mirror surface. Remove the ice, snow, etc. covering the outside rear view mirrors.
3. 2024 tweaked on page 250 with "outside rear view mirrors, windows" addition:
• Check for and remove any excess ice or snow that may have accumulated on the exterior lights, outside rear view mirrors, windows, vehicle’s roof, chassis, around the tires or on the brakes.
4. 2024 revamped the engine oil portion of "6-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance" and added a "Engine oil level rise" section with text explaining conditions where oil level above the refill upper mark may occur and that such an occurrence isn't a malfunction. The revamp included dipstick illustration changes as well as a few page number references due to the slight expansion of text length.
5. 2024 fixed 2023's pages 341 and 342 "a drift" to "adrift".
6. 2024 changed the wording of where to connect the negative jumper cable when jump starting.
7. 2024 added a notice on page 378:
■ When connecting jumper cables
Make sure to connect jumper cables to the specified terminals and connecting point. Failure to do so may adversely affect the electronic devices or damage to them.
8. 2024 on page 386 and 387 tweaked the wording of the engine oil capacity reference footnote.
I'm selfishly relieved that no exterior changes were made. My '19 gets another year of looking like the current model! woohoo!
Kinda not really.
22 gets hybrid badges removed
22 gets nicer wheels
22 gets updated headlights and grill
22 gets updated cupholder
23 got something else on the inside -- was it the screen up close? i just remember a 23 specific interior change.
19 did have something (on a positive note) that 20+ didn't have... it has to do with the secret 7ES info I know. and it's not an accessory, option, or add on. it's something lexus decided they didn't want or need to spend money on. something mike has but the rest don't!!
