Has anyone gotten a wheel alignment done on their 7th gen ES? What was the result? Did you have any issues with the rear?
I had an alignment done on my '22 ES 350 at 13k KM. I was getting snow tires and rims put on and the service advisor suggested I do an alignment. I was told they didn't do an alignment at PDI when I received the vehicle and he also said the factory doesn't do one either. Both the front and the rear were off. The front is adjustable so that was fixed but the rear is not adjustable so they left it as-is.
Here is my problem: The rear isn't adjustable and I don't think this new vehicle should have a rear alignment issue. I took it to a different dealership for the service #2 and the advisor there blew me off saying it was a non-issue. He told me that since it wasn't adjustable all they could do is throw parts at it... and then told me it was weird the other dealership had me to an alignment at all.
The vehicle is currently at 17,500 KM and the factory adjustment warranty is up at 20k KM. This is my first new vehicle so dealing with warranty claims is new to me. Do you think this is something that should be covered? Whats the Lexus warranty claim process like? I have an appointment in 2 weeks at the dealership that sold me the vehicle so I plan on bringing it up with them.
i'm more concerned with the front left toe. if you're savvy, you can DIY that in your garage... but not for the faint of heart. you'll want to get that fixed. you probably hit something and tweaked it. nothing a couple turns of the tie rod nuts can't fix.
PS -- i saw that you got that corrected. didn't scroll to the "After" sheet.
the rear camber doesn't concern me. a tank of gas or a six pack of beer can get that back in the green. to the degree it's showing "out," i'm not concerned.
surprised your toe out was pretty prominent in front. someone gave you a rally car alignment lol.
the cars are adjusted at the factory. you theoretically don't need to touch it ever. not until a bushing wears out so bad that it needs replacing. which on an ES, likely is never happening. or until you hit a curb or pot hole
