Phantom breaking leaving garage
 

Our 22 es350 shows yellow pedestrian warning when no one there and sometimes jarringly breaks the car.

Dealer says they couldn’t find anything wrong with sensors. We have lived in house 18 years with many different cars and never experienced this type of problem on any other car we have owned

one reason we bought car was for safety features and do not want to shut rear detection off a suggestion by dealer

are others experiencing this?

anyone know how to resolve this?

Yes, sometimes it shows the pedestrian when I drive into my garage, probably because there’s a white garbage bag hanging.

BRAKES stop the car. BREAKS means something has been broken. Sorry this one drives me nuts:):)

Happens to me when backing into the garage. I always disable the system when reversing in and turn it back on once parked

Your more sensitive then other people. LOL. you're / than.
Drives me nuts too. Similar to I vs me.
