New member here. Recently bought a 2020 ES350 and found this piece on the trunk floor. Any ideas?

do you notice any missing pieces on the liner of the trunk lid or areas along the trunk??

 

No. That’s the only piece.

 

check the emergency latch opener on the underside of the lid. Check underneath the hinges all the way in the back of the hinge. Which trim do you have? Kick sensor/power open/close?

 

2020 ES baseline. No kick sensor. No power open or close.

I was thinking trim piece for emergency trunk release handle. It’s about the right size but I couldn’t get it to fit. Anyone have a photo they could upload?

I was thinking the same thing but this is to a 22 Ultra Lux.
That's the closest thing I could figure out too.

…..But that other piece is still a mystery.

 

The base trim with no power trunk mechanism has a different assembly from the trunk assemblies on the trims with power trunk lids and kick sensor power trunk lids. As to how different I couldn't tell you. You would need to upload a pic of your entire trunk with the areas you think might be the mystery site for us to compare. I can do the same.
