Where did you buy? I have found pricing at eBay to be on the high end, Aliexpress is lower but I even see multiple options there.

This is the cheapest I've found, the one I'm leaning toward buying https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003769113792.html - the chrome style version, not black.

 

I already have a YouTube channel with lots of car videos going back years so I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make this happen unless something unexpected happens.

 

I bought the the one from AliExpress (the same one from your link). I think it was a little over $300.

FYI I did not order and my ES has been delayed another 6 weeks (maybe more as the date gets closer). I have bought some new ES accessories and I really don't want to buy more accessories yet until I know my car is actually coming one day and the price doesn't go higher due to world events. I'm still excited to get my actual car and then I will be more willing to drop $500+ on this...

Why has your new ES been delayed another 6+ weeks?? What caused the delay? Which model ES did you order exactly and in which color combination and with which options did you request that your ES come together with?? When did you put your order in for your new ES?
I’m waiting for my ES too. I put a $1,000 deposit down for an ES350 Ultra Luxury one month ago on February 7th. It’s already been 1 month and 1 day since I put my order with my Lexus dealer. My dealer told me that it will take 3 to 4 months before I get mine. I probably have another 2 to 3 months more of waiting before I get mine.

 

This is so nice if looks seamless after installation!

 

ES300h UL Moonbeam / Palamino. I'm not sure why it's delayed, I assume trucker convoy and chip shortage. I "ordered" at end of November and current estimate is now end of April.

I was initially told about 4 months but current estimate puts it at 5 months, roughly, give or take a week or two.

 

5 months? That's brutal delay. It is a good thing you can afford to wait. It is a luxury that a lot of folks do not have. You have those freedumb convoy truckers partially to thank for.

 

If 5 months sounds a lot, you should see Porsche orders wait these days 6-9 months.

 

I waited nearly 5 months, and that was before the Canada thing even happened.

 

This means that my wait will also be between 4 and 5 months too. One month has already gone by right now. So at the minimum, I should be getting my UL by the beginning of June or the latest by the beginning of July. Also, Lexus will be building more ES350’s as time progresses and as we get into springtime. Production at Lexus in Kentucky is getting better. Right now, production is not like it was during Covid. Lexus has increased their production numbers for the ES350.

I’m willing to wait for mine because I want to get “exactly” what I ordered. I don’t want any other exterior or interior color combination or any missing options on mine other than what I’m asking for. That’s why I’m willing to wait.
