Default Front door hard to shut?

Has anyone else noticed that you have to put more effort into shutting the front two doors than the rear doors on the ES? On my wife’s iS you can barely push the front doors and they will shut all the way. But on my new 2022 ES if I barely push the doors they don’t latch all the way. I have to use a little bit of force to get them to shut all the way which resulted in me shutting the door twice many times. Is this the norm or do I need to have Lexus adjust the doors?

there's not really any adjustments to the door--i've explored this out of curiosity.

the door is harder to shut cause it's heavier and larger and the car just seals a bit better than the 3IS. Probably the way the vent is tuned. to me the door shut is perfect (with the windows closed) I actually want it a bit heavier/harder to shut. I installed a bit of mat insulation on the door skins so that made it a bit heavier / "thunk"ier

It’s funny that you mentioned how the vent is tuned because if I open the back door and then try to shut the front door it closes with little to no effort just like the wife’s IS. So I do believe you are correct on the car having a tighter seal than my wife’s IS. I guess those vents are heavier and require a little more force to shut the last door to release the pressure.

Yeah you can sort of feel the ES door close against air pressure/sealing vs the 3IS door which kinda just thunks.

I think the way for ES is gives a perception of quality.

Try shutting the door of your ES with the window down (of the door you are shutting) it doesn't feel (or sound) so nice =/

If yours is equipped with the Mark Levinson system like mine is, the added weight of not only the lower sub as well as the more power window buttons and side mirrors will make it heavier than the rear doors.
