Default 2022 ES 300h UL - seat staining

I have a new 2022 ES 300h Ultra Luxury. When I say new I mean 10 days old. One of the reasons I fell in love with this trim level was the Palomino leather seats. That being said, I'm very disappointed. The drivers seat is changing color. It's picking up a blue hue from my jeans. I'm not wear any new jeans, just my years old 501s. Is there a way to safely clean the leather? More importantly, I don't want to put seat covers on these beautiful seats. How can I prevent this from happening long term? (Photo attached for reference).

Thanks for your help!

Sunil

I had parchment color leather seats in my 2013. They're similar to your color seats. I also wear blue jeans and the indigo color was transferring to the light colored seats. Just like you I posted on this forum and a member suggested that I try Ultima Interior shampoo gel. I did and it worked. I now use it on my Flaxen colored leather in my 2019 UL ES350.

You'll probably get numerous suggestions from other members that believe theirs is the best. Try them all and see what works best for you... GOOD LUCK!

The reason I always go with boring black interior. Sorry. You will NEVER avoid bluejeans staining on lighter colored interiors.

That's what I have but a much smaller bottle that has lasted over 6 years... Paid about $20.00.

I had a Venza with light grey leather and 2 kids... Over the 10 years i owned that car i cleaned the seats 3-4 tubes a year to scrub the food, marker stains etc.
I boght a gallon of commercial leather cleaner and conditioner combo and worked great. For areas that doesn't clean i used spray 9 lightly.

Honestly a microfiber towel with mild gentle soap (woolite etc) should do the trick to removing it. seat staining has been a thing on light leather for over a decade since BMW started with the white "Lemon" colored leather interior. i remember the complaints on the forums and saw it in person too. not much you can do. dyes like to... dye stuff. lol
