Unhappy Glass Breakage Sensor Availabilty

Greeting Everyone: Need some information. I am waiting for my 2022 ES UL . Should have by the end of December. There were some delays as I ordered September 1, 2021. I recently asked why the Glass Sensor Breakage was not on my list for the new car. This past week, my dealership stated they checked with their Lexus Representative who stated this Glass Breakage not available for the 2022 ES line. I have always had this option in all my GS and LS autos. The 2022 brochure indicates that this is an option, and it is listed on the Lexus Web site as an personal option at 180. It is basically a microphone that picks up any hard knocks or smashing of any windows and sets off alarm and notifies me at my Lexus Application. Questions: Has anyone with any 2022 ES Lexus had this option add in? I have a Lexus Case Manager now investigating as dealer may be getting a wrong information from their representative. I have seen this happened in many other situations. Any info is always greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays.

May I ask why you are really interested in glass breakage sensor?

In this day of age thieves don't break initio cars by breaking a window. It's much easier now with a computer and the key duplicators the thieves use.

Also, the cars "Alarm" activates when any of the doors open while the alarm is initiated. Hence, even without the sensor the alarm will start honking.

That being said, the recent car thefts are done by electronic key duplication which disables the alarm anyways.
