Lexus cruise control going one level up with promise of future software updates to take it even further. Think of it as catching up to Tesla’s current ability

Now that I sort of understand, though of no importance to me. Thanks for the explanation.

Remarkable technology. One step closer to autonomous driving. But since it’s still new, I think I’d feel safer waiting a few years until the potentially dangerous wrinkles, common to relatively new technologies, are ironed out. Not a matter of a new sound system or HVAC methodology. It’s something to which you’re, to a large extent, entrusting the safety of your family and yourself.
Clearly, though, this is the future. Marvelous.

Now that 2022 ES 300h was announced with several upgrades including upgraded cruise control, I will be waiting for that vehicle. My other considerations now is a smaller sedan from Lexus as ES is little too big for me but my understanding is that smaller cars will be less comfortable to drive. Also I am considering a plugin hybrid or even fully electric but that may not be coming to Lexus sedans till 2022.

The 2022 Lexus NX is rumored to have a plug-in hybrid but be prepared for a choppier and noisier ride. I haven't heard of any other reports of plug-in vehicles for Lexus in the near future.

Am I correct that 2022 ES 300h should be expected in the fall? When is usually better time to order in terms of incentives/deals?
