What The Heck Is This?
Just found it on the floor of my week old 2021 ES 350. Any idea?

Perhaps a factory team member left it in the car while assembling it? Looks like a cover to a screw or bolt but i can't imagine lexus putting a logo on something like that. which makes me think it belongs to a factory tool of some sort? strange indeed. then again i've only had my ES for a couple weeks so i'm not familiar with all the little parts.

Its for the cargo net. It fastens in the middle of the net.

that makes sense. i recall seeing something on my net.
i hate that net btw... it barely holds my groceries. the net on my CT200h however was massive and held tons more.. go figure. |
Many thanks. Will run down to the car right now and check it out.

Yep, it “closes” the cargo net with that elegant closing piece with logo. Thank you.

Kind of wish the cargo net were bigger. Have one for wife’s Volvo. It must be twice as big. Lexus could’ve made it a bit bigger.

I hate the cargo net - it just gets in the way when you want to fill the trunk. Mine is disconnected and tucked off to the side. anyone need one? :)

I would have liked a zoftig utility hook on each side of the trunk. I end up using the hooks for the cargo net, although they're a bit skimpy.
I tried some "stick to anything" adhesive hooks, but the felt innards of the trunk wouldn't cooperate. |
