Default Upgraded Mark Levinson in 2021 ES

Hi,
Was going through the 2021 Lexus ES brochure and came along this.

" World’s first Mark Levinson®5 PurePlay sound system. With the most advanced soundstage technology available in a Lexus, this system features speakers placed higher within the cabin to reduce reflections as well as create tonal synergy and nuances not found in any other vehicle. The result: audio that’s not only heard, but experienced like never before."

Let us all know if anybody gets the chance to listen to it.
This might solve the sound issues after all.
Thank You.

Looks to be the same speakers, same location, same wattage, probably no change. Great since I think it sounds amazing!

If it looks like the same location as 2019 and 2020, they are probably saying the speakers are placed higher in the doors than 2018 models and earlier or as compared to other manufacturers.

For comparison this is a quote from the 2020 brochure which explains the same system with just some different marketing verbiage:

”The ES offers numerous breakthroughs, from Amazon Alexa6 compatibility to Android AutoTM13 to the world’s first Mark Levinson®5 PurePlay sound system. With the most advanced sound-stage technology available in a Lexus, this system features speakers placed higher within the cabin to reduce reflections as well as create tonal synergy and nuances not found in any other vehicle. The result: audio that’s not only heard, but experienced like never before.”
