Enform 2.0 App No Longer
 

This message appeared this morning after an update in the car took place. I guess the 2.0 is discontinued, and all the features are now in the newly update "black logo" Lexus app v 1.1.4.

I received the same message yesterday. Honestly, I've been frustrated with Lexus and their false advertisement. I used to own a 2016 ES350 which had access to the app suite. I liked the apps and having easy access to them. Now in my new car, I no longer have access to apps and can only use Lexus Alexa.

Lexus website makes it clear we should have had access to more apps via Enform Suite 2.0 and I didn't. Now they're advising us to use the main Lexus app which I can only download Lexus Alexa. (ughh)

I called and emailed Lexus and received different answers. Some said I should have access to all apps and two said they're no longer available in the 2020 ES because we have access to Android Auto. Said many customers weren't using the apps so they decided to remove them and we have access to since via Android auto. We have access to some but not all. I liked using the fuel app and it's gone.

Does anyone here have more apps via your app screen or do you only have access to Lexus Alexa?

Do not remover the Enform 2.0 form the Lexus auto. You just remove the Enform 2.0 app from your phone. Auto knows to start using the Black Covered Lexus app because of an installation on our cars a few days ago.

I went thru the same BS for over an hour trying to get this straightened out. Poor service IMO... :wild:

I did remove the Enform 2.0 app from my phone, but now want to remove it from the vehicle. Without the app on the phone, the app in the car just tries to load and, of course, fails since it cannot find the phone app.

Did you see if you can update the car software?

Try removing your phone from the Bluetooth connection section on your vehicle. I found that helps to mitigate the issue but once in a while it still pops up for some reason.

Yes, I checked. Says the software is up to date.

Fellas, I decided to hit the lexus app suite on the dash screen today with my enform app connected just to see what it is all about and it asked to update so I did. I have yet to install the update on my car. Wondering how this will affect the system and usability and if I should or not. I understand this service is no longer available anyways? Is it all of the service or some? Thanks!

Don't do it. I wish to Hell I didn't do it. Trying to figure out how to get rid of this stuff, had no idea it would be like this.

What exactly does the install/update do?

Permanently installs apps that override what the hard buttons on the stereo do.
