F Sport - 2019 vs 2020 difference?
 

Hi all, new here..

What's the difference between the two years? i went to the dealer to get 2019, but they were out of stock and looking to get the 2020 in a month's time.. the price difference is around $1600, but couldn't get any info about the difference from the salesman, so i thought i'd ask here..

i've done some searching, and i found out the wheels are going gunmetal instead of regular silver, unless that's an option? because we only get the silver wheels here..

Another difference is the 2020's (After Oct build) will have Android Auto if that makes a difference to you. None of the 2019's have it.

Someone with an F-Sport in North America will have to chime in, but I thought gunmetal was the standard wheel color for 2019. Can anyone confirm?

Correct and the only FSport wheel option on the 2019.

Power folding mirrors - damn - I feel that hit hard too!!! My 2019 doesn't have it, you can't get it on a 2019 F-sport.

I got laughs from everyone, German car owners, Honda, Kia, Nissan even Toyota whenever I pulled up in a tight parking spot at a supper market and stepped out to fold my side mirrors by hand. People who lives in inner/downtown city ares will know how tight those parking spots are and how important and convenience that power folding mirror option is...

What kind of drug that y'all were on making you forgot this option Lexus F-Sport designers? Is it make the car 200% more sporty when you have to come out, fold in one of your mirrors, walk to the other side and do the same, and get laughed at. I bet.

My question is can you wire it yourself? I think it will be tough esp. if you want to control because now you have to make your own buttons inside somewhere, if you want it auto fold/unfold when the engine is off/on it maybe cleaner and less work... Still BS for a so-called luxury car that cost $50K

Sorry, I don't remember from that January post, but it was $500 that made the base price go from $44135 to $44635.

...and it's now standard.

It's ok safety features change every year because technologies keep on improving, that's normal and good.

What NOT good is the dang power folding mirror is now added to 2020 model... come on what the f...
