2019 ES350 Garbage Sound System
I suppose it's operating as designed but if that is indeed the case, why would Lexus issue a TSB?? Honestly, its really not a big issue to me. My car is in for an oil change, the dealer acknowledged there's an issue with the audio so I'm letting them perform the fix, update whatever you want to call it. If there's any interest here, I'll update you all when I have the car back this week. Otherwise I'm happy to ignore this thread going forward. Starting to sound like a Facebook rant btw the left and right and I don't participate in those - EVER.
I would like to hear how much improvement you see from this. I would also like to hear about the degree of improvement with the standard/base audio system if there is anyone on this forum that has the TSB performed with the base audio system. Thanks.

I'm curious to hear your results as well. Clearly the ML system has a front bias, which is why I have my fader set a bit to the rear. Since it's correctable within the range of the adjustment, it doesn't seem to be an issue to me.
I would not want to risk having the dealer taking apart my ES ML audio system under the circumstances. Thanks for being the test case.

So now they're telling me the part won't be available until end of week or early next week so I'm turning in the loaner and we'll start this all over again when the part comes in. The service advisor confirmed the TSB applies to both the base system and the ML.
I'm beginning to wonder myself. He told me there are different parts for base and ML.
I wonder why the TSB doesn't say anything about the ML system, unless I missed it. Is there anything on the TSB that leads you to believe that it applies to the ML? Also, do you know if they are replacing the entire amp? The TSB refers to the "amplifier logic" being updated. I'm not sure exactly what that means. If the amp puts out X watts, how does a logic update produce more volume? Seems to me that if they want more volume, they should increase the wattage, assuming that the speakers can handle it.
