DCM software update letter
 

I got a letter from Lexus two days ago regarding a software UPDATE needed for the GPS on my car my vehicle was manufactured about 5 months ago the letter states that your GPS will become inaccurate if the updates not done by I believe November I'm sure I'm not the only one who got the letter I post a picture of it when I get back to the house

It is a "Service Campaign." What surprised me is that they estimate it will take 2.5 to 3 hours. Yikes. I would have thought it would have been something along the lines of a firmware update but it must be more than that based on the time requirement.

EDIT: I discovered when scheduling an appointment with Lexus that this notice I received was for my 2016 NX. My apologies. The notice was from Lexus and only identified the vehicle by VIN so I incorrectly assumed it was for the latest vehicle purchase, the ES. Since lovmyGSFS also received a similar notice I wouldn't be surprised to see another one in the near future for the 2019 ES...
