Default Rear air vents are overly loud?

When I test drove the es last weekend, I couldn't get over how loud the rear air vents were. I kept thinking I had a rear window open or a bad door seal lol

Is this common for cars with rear vents in the center console?

Are you sure it is the rear vents or the seat ventilation? The seats on their highest setting is quite noticeable. This generation sacrificed some quietness for improved seat ventilation, which I appreciate.

Probably the seat fans I agree. The ones in our RX sound like 747 engines when they're on high setting.

Hifman1,

I have a 2019 ES350 FSport. That has been my biggest complaint since I drove it home. It is not the air conditioned seats. I am having the Regional Area Tech for the Southern Region coming to Sterling McCall Lexus Thursday to assess my vehicle (I'm going to be there when he does). I am very anxious to get this issued resolved. They resolved it with a friend's RX350 and see no reason they cannot do the same with the ES350. $50,000 for a car making wind noise like that is extremely unacceptable. I am a 7 time Lexus owner. Lexus needs to make this good. I will update everyone on Friday with the response and action received on Thursday.

Good luck!

Regards,

We have a 2017 RX too and the 2019 ES are even louder in comparison, but more effective.
