Yeah, the sun kind of messes up how the interior looks. Can you take a different picture of the interior, when the lighting is different? Whenever you get a chance.

I love the wheels and one of the reasons I wanted the FSport to begin with.

Do the F-Sport wheels also have the noise reduction like the wheels available on other trims?

No, there is only one wheel option available with the noise reduction feature. Lexus calls these "18-in split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels* with high-gloss finish." These cannot be optioned on the F-Sport model.

They're not noisy I assure you.

Mind sharing MSRP & what you were able to negotiate?
Thanks!

51,900, 4,500 off sticker and a fairly reasonable trade value for a five year old car. Did I leave a few hundred on the table? Perhaps but they let me walk away after haggling twice previously so I felt I was close to the bottom.

Well after a month Dave Mac, I'm here to report that I cannot, even after trying very hard to listen, discern any difference between the alloy wheels on my 2013 Luxury level ES 350 and my new 2019 UL level ES 350 with the "noise reducing" wheels. To be fair, I didn't think that the wheels on the 2013 were noisy. They were painted and hard to clean where the new ones are, I think, chrome plated and easier to keep clean = wider spokes... For $1000.00 extra you'd think Lexus could send somebody over to the house to clean them for you. LOL..

Thanks for that reporting - I had been waiting but wasn't going to ask again. I kind of thought that any factory wheels were not going to add noise to their cars.

The triple beam option is terrific. We have an '18 RC F Sport with them and they're superior on dark roads to any other car's headlights I've ever owned.

On the '19 ES F Sport. they're even better than last years RC.

https://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/ve...0-4-door-sedan

Triple beam earned an "G" for headlights, and the comments were better than almost any car iihs tested.

There is another factor that, I think, complicates comparing the noise levels from the wheels on your 2013 ES to those on the new 2019 ES. On the 2013, you had 17 inch wheels. Your 2019 has (I think) 18 inch wheels, and the lower profile tires with the 18 inch wheels result in more noise than what comes from the higher profile tires with the 17 inch wheels.

I know that, with Generation 6 ES, with the mid-cycle re-fresh in 2016, Lexus claimed that one of the improvements made in the post-re-fresh ES was the addition of more sound insulation in the wheel wells. But there is at least as much, probably more, noise from the road/wheels with my 2017 ES than there was from the road/wheels with 2013 ES. My conclusion was that, any benefits that came from the added sound insulation on the 2017 were offset by the fact that the 2017 has 18 inch wheels, and the 2013 had the 17 inch wheels.

I suspect that the same factor may be at play when you compare the noise levels from the wheels/road with your 2019 ES to the noise levels from the road/wheels with your 2013 ES.
