Dark colors for me! I'll either be choosing the Nightfall Mica or Obsidian. Depends on which one I find with all the options I want, and the flaxen interior is a must.

I'm planning on a flaxen interior with bamboo and an exterior of Atomic Silver... I would actually like to get the Nuluxe interior instead of leather but probably can't in an UL 350...
I saw it last week in an NX and was very impressed with the quality. Maybe a special order... Nahhh. No special order for me...

Have you seen the semi-aniline in person? I really doubt you would prefer the fake leather over it.

No, I can't say that I've ever seen the semi-aniline leather. I have the standard leather in my '13. I took my daughter to look at an NX last week and it had flaxen Nuluxe. Looked really nice to me and the salesman says it doesn't deteriorate and crack like real leather.

If there were better alternatives than real leather, I would go with them any day. I am also flaxen all the way- and it's a huge plus that it looks great too!

I have liked the flaxen, or similar, since it was in a friends BMW in about 2009 (BMW called it Auburn). My last two MDXs (my daily driver) have been about this color (Umber in my 2011 and Espresso in my 17), although the Espresso in my 17 MDX is darker.
As to exterior colors I prefer light colors. Atomic Silver is my favorite Lexus color. Dark colors look great clean, but my vehicles don't always get frequent washes.
