Starting this thread to collect/share real owner reviews of our new toys! I test drove two separately trimmed ES 300h's before purchasing. I will spend the following seven days going through the vehicle and will share my thoughts after 1 week of ownership! Impressed, satisfied, and confident I will be keeping until it dies.

Location: SoCal - excellent dealership experience and several compliments before driving vehicle off the lot. Lots of staring too!
Official Release: Labor Day, however, Lexus dealers are now authorized to "softly" sell the 2019 ES's.

Now to my negotiation and to assist others with getting their dealer to budge on the MSRP:

-Dealers are indeed attempting to charge MSRP: "we're offering 2018's at a large discount already"
-Military, Recent/Upcoming College grad, and Lexus Loyalty discounts are available* on the 2019 until SEP 04
-I was able to apply the military and Lexus loyalty discounts ($750 + $750)...these expire on TUESDAY SEP 04
-Dealer granted additional cash on trade-in of 5th GEN ES (couple hundred) after politely whining and reassuring I am trying to purchase a vehicle immediately
-Arrived with my own financing, but agreed to Lexus terms under the following conditions that came with a reduced additional cost:
1. Increase bumper to bumper warranty to 100,000 miles 7 years (reduced cost)
2. Match Gap insurance with my own financing option (reduced by $500)
3. Add Protective sealant to semi-aniline leather and exterior paint
4. Tire replacement (not patching) for nails, damage, etc.
5. Match my own financing's apr (they came within 0.40%) while keeping term length
6. Additional options

Total saving off MSRP (WITHOUT THE NEED TO ACCEPT ITEMS 1-4): $1,700 ~3.11% off my model's MSRP.
Savings did not require me to get add-ons, dealer options I wanted, etc.
Overall, they get more money out of me while I get a little piece of mind and primarily....Convenience. This course of action is not for everyone, especially those that don't care to get dealer options/extended warranties, etc.

Once again, a 1 week of ownership review (WITH PICTURES) is forthcoming!
I own a 2016 ES300H ultra luxury the driver seat is comfortable .I previously had a 2013 Avalon Hybrid and the driver I could feel a metal bar in the bottom that bothered me after 30 min drive and the main reason I sold it
the 2016 ES300H UL this was gone and I was happy
I am ordering a 2019 Ultra luxury wont get it for several months but today I set in a ultra luxury package for a hour at the dealer same as I am ordering and again I found this metal bar middle of seat bottom were is should be all soft and nice
my question is have you noticed this on yours?

1 1/2 weeks of ownership now.....ES300h. Great improvement.....I like the ECO setting because of the AGC (auto glide control) which is not available in Normal or Sport. Significant difference in mpg in city....and the engine is quieter. The A/C fan speed lowers as well. Stays cool. Another nice advance is when the cruise is set, the moment the directional is on, the car gains speed......prior to the actual change of lanes. This is new...and I’ve not seen it on other vehicles with dynamic cruise, including the newer RX. I really love this car and I see great improvement, except in one area: I’m not prone to lower back pain....no history. I cannot find a proper driver’s seat setting for my frequent trips from the Desert to San Diego. After 45 minutes, the lower back pain begins. My car has the seat extender and the 4 way lumbar control. I’m 5’ 10”, average weight. And I find that the seat at its highest height setting feels a bit too low. I’m already shopping for a lumbar back cushion and a seat cushion. Hope that will help, even tho it will render the seat cooler (actually cools with cold air) ineffective.

I've read Lexus's description on the AGC but Im not sure I fully understand it. Put it simply, does it basically turn down the hybrid regenerative breaking so its more coasting and less breaking when the accelerator is not pressed?

My first 1000 miles were 50/50 highway and local driving. The car was programmed to normal setting. The MPG was exactly 47 with tier 1 regular gas.

In addition to feedback I already received, please feel free to continue providing questions you'd like answers to in my review. I hope to provide my full review on or before 15 SEP.
Are you still planning to provide the review?

Regarding your question, it's understandable that you're wondering about the estimated delivery time, especially when your dealer isn't providing much information. Unfortunately, the delivery time can vary depending on a few different factors, such as transportation logistics and potential delays. As for car delivery services, I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but there are definitely reputable companies out there who specialize in transporting vehicles. It might be worth looking into some reviews or recommendations from other car owners to find the best car delivery service for your needs. And of course congratulations on the new ES 300h. I hope you will have a lot of fun with it.

Had two previous generation ES hybrids and had zero problems with both. Wife just traded her 2017 ES 300h for a 2023 NX 350h. She wanted a SUV. IMO best looing sedan on the road. Now going to help you spend some more money.

I had a 2020 loaner while getting our 2017 ES 300h oil changed. 57 mile trip half highway and half city 47 mpg. Incredible for a vehicle this size.
