When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
I have come across the solution to my original question for those that may be interested. It has nothing to do with Android Auto or Apple Car Play. It is part of the Google Maps app. And yes, you can get rid of it quite easily. it is just a toggle on or off. Here is a Video to demonstrate. Click Link below and then Press the Play Button in the Center of the Picture.
Hmm...
Why am I being prompted to sign up or create an Amazon account?
In case you aren't aware of it, you can upload and attach video files to a Club Lexus forum post without requiring any hoop jumping through third-party account gymnastics.

I tried, but it would not accept an MP4 file. So please enlighten me. - You can try my link again, as I modified it for sharing.

Convert it to a video format file that the website will accept for uploading. IIRC, I've seen .avi, .mov, and .wvm video format files as forum post attachments.

"The most common video format in 2025 is MP4 (MPEG-4), prized for its balance of high quality and small file size, making it ideal for streaming, social media, and general use. It offers excellent compatibility across most devices and platforms, supported by web browsers and streaming services as a universal standard. The primary video codec used within MP4 is H.264, which provides efficient compression without significant loss of quality. "
As I had said, I have changed the link for sharing and all you should have to do is click on it now (My Mistake) --- Are you able to view it now?

...
You might want to make a pitch for MP4 video attachment uploading support in the Site Suggestions & Problems forum.

Yes. No more sign in or sign up Amazon account nag.
Correct! Just tap the Google Map icon to toggle full or split screen. I do this occasionally, although I prefer the split screen with PowerAmp music album art.
Here's an illustration from the video...
I understand that Google bought Waze recently and incorporated the crowd sourcing
notification that Waze introduced into Google Maps. Now Apple Maps has a button
also to alert other users. The Pop-Up, "still there/not there" is a minor annoyance but
reassures me that the system is working somewhat.
Well there goes Waze - Googlopoly will make sure it’s destroyed.

Google bought Waze in June 2013.
While Google has something of a reputation for killing off app/product offerings, in the 12 or so years since the acquisition, Waze has continued to thrive.
If I had even a smidgen of a hint that a suggestion for adding MP4 video format files to the already acceptable list of video format files for post attachments would receive such responses, I wouldn't have suggested you make the pitch for MP4 file attachment support.

Not your fault at all ! --- They were mostly interested in saying no. - If the existing formats have a size limitation on them, there is no reason that they couldn't put the same limitation on MP4.
