Default Rustproofing the ES

Hi Folks,
New ES350 owner here. Loving the car and plan to keep it for a long time, given it is one of the last of Toyota/Lexus' unbreakable V6 engines. I live in a place where they salt our roads with a metric ton of salt every winter, and rust is a big concern. The Dealership was trying to convince me to buy the "module", which is pure crap. They then "warned" me that any other rustproofing product would void the warranty. Corporate debunked both statements, saying that rust-proofing doesn't automatically void the warranty, but if it is misapplied and damages the sensors, then the warranty is void. Has anyone rust-proofed their ES with no problems? I'm looking at getting Corossion Free applied to it (no drilling involved, no drip).
Thanks!

Not on (either) of our ES350s, but I have used Corrosion Free Rust Cure on my RAM 1500. Love it! Its better than Fluid Film, IMHO, because its not lanolin so no sheep smell...it seems to be more of a synthetic type product, packaged in the consistency of hair gel but sprays out like WD40 and sticks like oil.

I wouldn't worry one bit about it on sensors, etc. Granted, the newer ES models seem to have more panels underneath which may help protect the undersides a bit better, but protecting in the rockers, door frames, etc cant hurt either.

Living in CT we deal with similar stuff, but TBH I dont bother undercoating our cars, only our trucks. The beds and cab corners are the usual suspects as trucks get older, but cars dont really get too bad around here. *Maybe* the wheel well lips and fender doglegs? Not sure if your installer pulls those (or at least loosens them) so they can get the oil sprayed in those areas.

I used ValuGard by Automotive International. It is an asphalt based underbody coating that really helps keep the road salts from eating at the frame. I've had this done on all of my previous 4 cars and it really works well.

Here in Canada, I have been using Krown rust protection on my cars for almist 30years. Yje only I ever had was with My ISF where the oil dripped out of the bottom drain holes of the doors and caused the weatherstripping to bloat and become mis-shaped. The Krown dealer paid for new weather stripping and suggested I spray the weatherstripping with silicon spray. Other than that has worked well for many of my cars over the years. Have had the ES300h sprayed twice now and now issues.
