Seat Won't Move in Memory

Just got me a '19 ES350. One thing has me puzzled. I have set both Memory 1 and 2 for me and my wife. When we get in and press our respective button, the steering wheel moves, outside mirrors move, but the seat doesn't move for either of us. Am I missing a setting? I'm 68 and not the most tech savy guy around.
I do have the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty so that's not an issue. I'm just wondering if I am missing a setting? Or do you have to readjust the seats every time?

It may be that a previous owner has had the seat movement turned OFF in the "Customization" menu. Check around about P. 408 of your manual. Some may do that to "save" the motors from wearing out...or the motor may actually be worn out....or the wiring is faulty. Since you have some kind of warrantee, get it checked out.

Sounds crazy but it resets the seats and worked for us and others. Move the seat all the way forward then all the way back then tilt the seat all the forward. Then reset the positions pressing 1 and 2.

The seat memory has not been initialized (calibrated). I just went through this on my 2025. The video below tells you how to do it. There are several different variations on how to do it. I am not sure which one is correct. I tried several on mine until I got it working. The dealer will also do it for you.

The You Tube video posted above is missing an important step. They only moved the seat
operations to one extreme. The complete procedure for "Initializing" the seat is to move each
control to Both extremes of travel, full forward and reverse, full up and down, front and rear, and
full upright seat back and full recline. Now it will register the three memory positions.

This fixed it. Thanks!

That's how Northside Lexus's Melissa O'Connell demonstrates it in her "Tech Tip Tuesday - How to calibrate the seats on your Lexus with Driver Position Memory" video:
