Default Linking profile to key fob missing?

Picked up a new 2024 ES300h earlier this year and set up two profiles on the car. Based on everything I've read, it seems like I should be able to link a profile to a key fob for automatic detection, but I can't seem to find the setting. I've checked under the "Personal info" tab in settings, but the key section and link key options don't exist in the menu.

Is this something that's supposed to be supported?

Where did you read that you can link a Lexus Interface driver's profile to a key fob? It is just a driver's position memory setting that you can link to a key fob/card.

For 2023 and later model year ESs, the Lexus Interface driver's profile is linked through a registered Bluetooth device. From the "Setting up how to identify a driver" section on page 45 of the 2024 Lexus ES250, ES350, ES300h Multimedia Owner's Manual:
Set a device in order to identify a driver. When the engine switch <power switch> is turned to ACC or ON and a registered smartphone is detected, the my settings that the device is assigned to is automatically loaded.
...
"Bluetooth devices"

Driver identification is performed using a smartphone or other
Bluetooth® device and the applicable my settings is loaded.

Touch [Link devices] to register. (→P.84)
On page 84 it is stated that a Bluetooth device must support HFP (Hands Free Profile) in order for it to be used for linking to a driver profile.

Thanks. I saw it on the Lexus Connected Technology Support website when I searched 2024 ES300h, so I was pretty confused when it didn't exist in the menu. Wasn't sure if the information was outdated or there was something wrong with the car.

I'll play around some more with it to try to get my profiles swapped from detecting bluetooth.

I don't think that Connect Technology support page is correct.

Northside Lexus's Melissa O'Connell's "Tech Tip Tuesday - Top 10 Things to Know for Lexus Interface Vehicles" demonstrates key linking for Lexus Interface vehicles starting at the 4:53 time mark. She demonstrates, first, procedures for NX, RX, RZe, and LX (vehicles which have the "Link key" toggle under the driver's profile "Personal Info" panel and also use that key link to set a key linked driver's position memory) followed by procedures for UX, ES, and LS (vehicles which don't have the "Link key" toggle and link key fobs/cards using the "door lock and the driver's position memory recall button" procedure found on page 123 of the 2024 Lexus ES300h Owner's Manual).

Hello, I had the same issue with a brand new 2025 ES300h and, after much searching and weeding through all the inaccurate answers I got from Lexus Brand Engagement and the Sales and Service department, someone was finally able to authoritatively inform me that this feature is not present in this model of the car (or any trim level).

I know it sucks. You would think, after paying so much money for the car, that this mninimal feature would be available.
