Nah, I don't keep too much junk in there. Same with the glove box, it's empty. I can't stand hearing things clunking around in there when braking or making a turn.
Anyway, I would like to see how people went about securing that second bolt that doesn't line up with the dash speaker

Hi Red112fl. You said, "have you purchased the center console tray yet? Three color options, a perfect fit, only $20 and helps to keep the center console organized instead of being one cavernous pit". Can you send the link to the one you bought? Thanks.

Do a search on Amazon for "Compatible with Lexus ES ES 350, 2022, 2023, 2024, interior armrest storage box"

Because as previously mentioned, the mounting hole spacing are not the same on oem and aftermarket

How did you mount the second screw? Some sort of adapter?

I’m wondering if the ends of the eyelets could be cut to make the attachment points U shaped. Center the speaker between the two bolts and the bolts will clamp down on the ends of the U’s. Or leave the eyelets as is, bolt one end, and maybe the other end can be cinched down with a zip tie somehow. Anyways, mine should be arriving today. I’ll figure something out.

Please share what you did to ensure the second mounting point is secured. I debated while on my commute this morning this upgrade. I think I'll pull the trigger eventually, but need to research some speakers.

I had previously purchased Kicker speakers, but have not installed them yet. I hope they are as good was the ones you installed. These are pretty small 3.1/2 speakers, but the new ones magnets are Huge. Maybe I will change them out today. I know it 's an easy thing to do, I was waiting for my mini split AC to be installed in the garage. it is now installed and it is ice cold in my garage, with outside temps around 90s. The only downside I have seen is my windows fog up when I drive out! that's ok..they clear up quickly.

Hi new here -- I was wondering for those who upgraded their speakers to the REF307F in the ES350 did you use the supplied capacitor. Have 2 opinions from Crutchfield one says use and one says do not use.

@DocEnuf , keep us posted on how you secured the dash corner speakers! I think several of us are anxious to see how you do it, since it appears they require some modification

I went to install the 3 1/2 speakers and you do have to move the mounting brackets inward to fit this speaker, (like your installed did for the infinity's ) . Instead of installing them, I ordered some 4" infinity speakers to see if those will bolt up correctly without moving mounting holes. I will advise of the outcome when them come in. Larger is better?? we will see.
