Default Won't start / turns off

2024 ES 350 Got in my car and it would not start. Got a message to put key fob to the push button. About a week and a half later was sitting at a traffic light and the car turned itself off. Anybody else experiencing anything like this?

Time to pay your dealership a visit and get that diagnosed/fixed under warranty.

I think the first issue ("Got a message to put key fob to the push button.") is indicative of a weak battery in the fob (or key card).
I have no idea why the car would turn itself off while at idle, but I don't think that's related to the key, as I think the car, once started while a fob is inside the car, will continue to run after the fob leaves the car.

The only thing I experienced like this in my 300h was momentarily, power completely cut off while pulling into traffic at a T intersection. it was scary as the car did not respond to pedal input for a full 1-2 seconds. pedal mashed, no response at all. it happened twice. my head did that thing where i lurched my head forward in anticipation of the car accelerating, but the car did not accelerate.. just rolled.

i sent an email to my dealer and they never responded.

I had this happen to me once making a u turn and had foot on brake and gas and apparently had pushed brake a little while trying to accelerate and completely letting off brake would only go about 1 mph to luckily turning into a service station. Turned off and back on and all fine. Car doesn't like tough situations where break and accelerate are needed real close to each other and doesn't recover in a safe manor.

Happened to me twice. Both times I have gotten out of the car (with the card key on my wallet) leaving the car on (family inside) and then I turned car off to refuel. When trying to turn it on again, it asked me to touch the start button with the key (smart card). I suppose it's a security feature but I couldn't find it on the manual.
