Same with Android Auto I presume? So there's really no need for an in car native NAV these days which years ago was a deal breaker for some.

Don’t know for a fact about Android. I’m Apple everything..
Waze through phone saves thousands $ by not spending for NAV, not to mention expense for updates.

Here is a 2019 with 160k kms for 30k, and here's a 2018 with 82k kms for 32k.

Any thoughts on which would be a better choice? I've heard the 7th Gen is a big improvement and I prefer the exterior but I think I like the interior of the 6th Gen more, especially with the wood (although I've never seen one in person).

I just bought a 2019 ES350 CPO car. Could not be happier. Coming out of a 2012 ES and loved that car too. This one is a step up driving wise. You sit lower in the car and that needs some getting used to. 2019 is quieter and faster than the 2012 and handles better.

Good luck.

You don't save "thousands" by forgoing the Lexus Navigation. For non Ultra Luxury model types the 12.3 inch touchscreen with the 3 year trial subscription Drive Connect option is just $1030 MSRP and in order to "save" that one thousand cost you have to go with the 8 inch touchscreen. (For Ultra Luxury model types the 12.3 inch touchscreen with the 3 year trial subscription Drive Connect is a standard feature so there's no savings there.)

Buy Base model, save thousands you need to spend for higher models to get NAV.
Get it through Waze via car phone instead.

Whatever the dollar total, some people feel that way -- including some carmakers. Honda, for one, has ditched onboard nav entirely on some new models and just connects to Google.
