Chipped shark fin housing
Two months ago, after arriving home from the dealership--150 miles from where I live--in my newly-purchased 2019 ES350, I noticed that the base of the plastic shark fin housing was chipped on one side. The dealer ordered a replacement, including a new antenna, and shipped it to me. If the antenna was damaged, it's not evident to me. Water damage is not an issue because, weirdly, it has not rained here since I bought the car and I have not had it washed. So my question is: Can I get away with just replacing the housing, or is it best to

You should definitely replace it. Especially since you have a new antenna. That area up on the roof is always going to be vulnerable for leaks from rain, snow or melting ice, washing the car etc.

That is no "chip". That is a straight up broken antenna.

Appreciate the replies
The replies so far are sufficient for me to have the Lexus folks remove and replace the shark fin housing and antenna. Thank you all!
