Came on just briefly after I started the car, then quickly vanished by itself. I think it said,

Message shown in combination menu

But I have no idea where to look for whatever it was talking about, let alone what it meant.

Anybody know anything?

 

It refers to the screen next to the speedometer. Sometimes it is an error that clears quickly, so you may not see it.

I had heard three quick beeps on my previous drive. I still don't know why (lane departure warning?), but when I saw that "combination" flash in front of me, I was afraid it had stored a trouble message.
