Dealer just notified me part is in. "Bring car in with less than 1/2 tank".

 

Had mine done today. Took 4 hours and they had to remove the rear bottom seat for access. After, they gave me a full tank of gas...

They did not fill my tank when I had the recall done on my GS. They said they are trying to minimize their hands-on time with the cars because of COVID, so no trips to the gas station. Yet they offered to send a driver out to pick up the car at my house and return it to me later in the day...

 

I call BS. Doesn't Lexus cover the fuel in return for the imposition of a recall? Shouldn't be up to the dealer.
