Default cupholder problems

Is anyone else finding the cupholders on their new ES models to not hold containers very well? In my 2012, the cupholders had these rubber bumpers on the inside that kept containers snug. In my new 2020 ES 300H, the drinks in the cupholders rattle around. Very annoying. Are there after-market products that can fix the problem??

My car is new enough I've only used the cupholders once so far...and I didn't notice any movement or rattling around for my short drive.

I have the same issue. Even using the 2-tiered adjustment for cup height, cups still move around. It’s minimized using the larger cup adjustment, but then some cups become hard to grip since they become so recessed.

This problem with a new car comes in at 2 on a scale of 1-10... Buy a piece of rubber door/window weatherstripping that has adhesive attached to it. Cut it to the circumference of the cup holder and attach it about 3/4 of the way down inside. No more rattling...

I see a class action lawsuit forthcoming.

For the phone holder slot, I put two adhesive rubber dots on the bottom of the well to keep the phone from jiggling. The weatherstrip sounds like a good idea for the cupper.

I wish someone with a 3D Printer would print a square to circle insert for the square holder.

I keep hoping see one pop up on eBay from the direct from China sellers. They figured out the need for a change tray in the cavernous center console already.
