The exterior doesn’t look bad in the images, though I find the current generation more elegant.
The interior, however, is a definite no go for me; and knowing that it features the e-latch door opening system, it’s an instant dealbreaker. Let's start a 9th generation ES thread.
Glad I have a V6 gas only. For me cost of fuel not an issue. I'll bet that these new Lexus hybrids are gonna be expensive, a lot more than the gas models of today. I also wonder if the V6 cars will increase in value.
I know that I'm keeping mine 'til the wheels fall off.

I haven' t read or seen the e-latch door handle so what are the disadvantages of it?
Glad I have a inline-4 only as well. If I could buy v6, I would have as Australia never had v6 es 7th gen.

Main issue is e-latch is electronic vs traditional door handle is mechanic which literally pulls a steel wire to unlock..
E-latch needs power 24/7 to function. When the battery is out, you won't be able to get in (there is a backup system I am sure you can use to get in with (you guessed it) a KEY!)
