Driver's Seat Issues

My driver's seat has been feeling loose for a while now - near the right thigh area.
I notice it when I'm accelerating and decelerating.
Does anyone else have this issue?
If so, can you share any details on how you fixed it?

Also... Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the driver's seat?

If the car is under warranty, the dealer should deal with it. Seats are heavy, with various connections and a total pain to remove and reinstall, not something a first timer would want to tackle, IMO.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty.

...

There was a Driver Seat Shifting thread a while ago where a few posters had similar seat issues. From what I can gather from the discussion, the things that ultimately fixed to issue was either a seat track replacement or a complete seat replacement.

In absence of finding instructions somewhere else, for $25 you can get a 2 day subscription to the Lexus/Scion/Toyota Technical Information Sysytem where you can find the amongst other things the official Lexus repair manual for your ES.
