Default ES350 Trunk Storage Question

Probably a newbie question, but I have been searching an answer to this question to no prevail.
I'm currently using the all-weather cargo matts that the dealership provided me, but things such as crates keeps sliding everywhere in my trunk even when I'm driving at moderate speeds. Any solutions?

Here's what I put in my 2019 UL 350... I don't carry a lot of things in the trunk but what i do carry doesn't slide all over the place and I'm protecting the original trunk mat as well.

Did that include the all weather cargo mat for the trunk? There's an available cargo net as well to secure stuff. You can have mine which has been sittimg in my trunk for five years😀

Of course - there are always solutions.
Search Amazon for "Auto Trunk Organizer" and you will find a large number of items with sections and pockets; most have straps and rings for you to attach to the ring hooks in the Lexus trunk to keep the organizer from sliding around inside the trunk.
OR: get some bungee cords of various sizes and use them to tie down the "crates" and things in your trunk that keep sliding around.
OR: I have the plastic cargo mat from the dealer as well as the trunk carpet. I put the carpet on top of the plastic cargo mat. The carpet is easy to deal with, but the big cargo mat is stiff, heavy and does not fold. You could fold the carpet up when you have a slippery crate that you don't want to put on the carpet, and, if it still slides around, use some bungee cords.
OR: Since there are only a few installed rings in the ES trunk (just two, I think - there were 4 in my smaller RC trunk), you might look at getting a few more installed, and you can use those to hold things down.
OR: Fill the trunk up with empty crates to keep the filled ones in place.
That's all I have right now, but there is no "OFF" position on the genius switch, so surely more ideas will follow.

Yea it included the all weather cargo mat for the trunk as well. And yes, I also got the cargo net haha.

I was thinking like a divider like this, the awesome part is that my crate fits perfectly in the indent(the wall with the through load)

Oh I like the idea with the bungee cords and the empty crates!

I've been using these for quite a while. They're flexible and have come in handy with different shapes of things.

Love my cargo net. Keep all kind of car stuff and miscellany in it—-groceries after we shop, too. Actually, I have two cargo nets in the trunk. They are very handy.

I put my 2021 RX 350 cargo net and a rear seat under seat storage bin I had from my 2018 Ridgeline. The RX 350 cargo net holds 200% more stuff then the puny cargo net that comes with the ES.

Yeah, I’m also using the Volvo cargo net from our previous car. It holds twice the stuff the Lexus net can hold.

Just wanted to give an update on this, turns out a lot of the sliding went away after I removed the plastic cargo matt and just used the carpet one. SOOO MUCH BETTER.

Default Fabric matt and bungee cord

If your car came with the fabric trunk matt, most are option out with that package. Remove the all weather matt. Use a bungee cord in those 2 metal loops and this will keep most items towards the back of the trunk. Maybe milk crates or small hand held shopping baskets could help.
