Default Easy CAN Bus injection / hack theft on the current gen?

Does anyone know if the current 7th gen ES is easily vulnerable to the CAN Bus theft?

I have been reading how this attack is very common and have been growing in some markets like Canada, UK and now USA. Basically, the attack is performed in under 2-3 minutes by prying the bumper near the headlight and getting access to the headlight cable. From there it's just connecting a device to the cable and sending flooding codes to the car computer which allows the car to open the door and start the engine like your own keyfob. Apparently is a widespread issue affecting most manufacturers but for some reason thieves are attacking Toyota/Lexus the most, been the current RX one of the top stolen. There are a lot of Youtube videos of this been performed.
Eg.

I've read somewhere that new gen NX is protected against this hack by using encryption between the multiple ECU's; and some models are protecting the cables/connector behind metal braces but could not find any info on the ES350/300H.

Here is a very detailed blog on the issue:

I have seen theft recovery new gen ES, highlander and RX4s piled up at dealership lots

The ES and highlander had the headliner consule with sunroof buttons ripped out and connector dangling. My guess is they connect through that to start the cars.

But the worse part is that they rip the center console and Instrument panel to rip the Data communications module and GPS out and cause significant damage there.

Some highlanders had the sharkfin antenna smashed as well.

Seems like an awful lot of work for thieves for a non-exotic car. But some people enjoy added destruction I guess.

Wow, it's incredible that such a new and luxury car is easier to steal than my 6th Gen Accord.

I have a Galaxy SmartTag on my car, but like AirTags, now it's easy for these thieves to locate the TAG due to misuse for stalking purposes.

I'm thinking about programming an Audrino board with SIM/GPS so I can be able to track the vehicle in case this happens to me. But with a destruction of such magnitude I don't know if it would be worth recovering. If this happened to me, I would have to look at other brands that have taken a better initiative for this modality.

I hope Lexus implements some type of update/firmware to retrofit our 7th Gen to reduce these attempts.
