Default Help!

I was driving my mother-in-law’s 2019 Lexus ES 350 and went to open the armrest. I didn’t realize that it opens both from the passenger side and the driver side. Well, it was not fully latched on the passenger side and I went to open it from the driver side. This caused the lid to unhinge. I’ve been at it for hours trying to re-insert the lid. Anyone have any idea on how to do this. Any help that can save me a trip to the dealership would be greatly appreciated.

There is a spring on the lid that I have no idea where to insert.

Hard to tell from the pics since i can't see the armrest, but hopefully nothing is broken and you can simply reinsert it starting at one corner.

also never use armorall on anything. worst thing you can put on your interior -- common knowledge for 20 years+

The spring goes here:

You need to remove the cover from the lower base, just pull it up.
Check my pics from the link.
