Messages no longer being received on my 350 es

My wifes es 350 no longer reads text messages from her phone

Did she change her message service?
When we switched to Signal for security we discovered it was not compatible with the ES

Does the phone connect to the car when you start it up and work except for the messaging? If so then its possible one of the setup items has changed.

For the Lexus ES Bluetooth connections, confir 'show notifications' is on.
