Default Will a 2016 Lexus Es300h front bumper fit on a 2014 Es300h?

I recently bought a f-sport style spindle grill and tried to install it on my 2014 es300h, the sellers verified with me the grill would be able to fit the vehicle even though it's made originally for a 2016. As i tried to install it i realised the grill doesn't line up right with the bumper even the emblem is not the correct size. So I figured the sellers lied about it. Anyways, I want to know if a 2016 front Es bumper will fit on a 2014 vehicle. Does anyone know if it will or if any modifications will be necessary? Im also aware of the headlights that needs to be changed, are the headlight mounting holes a direct fit?

Why don’t you just get a 2016? You’re just hurting the value of your car.

I would like to suggest that you call your Lexus dealer and pose your question to their parts department, who will surely know the answer.

Since you refer to it as a f-sport style spindle grill, I assume you are trying to install a non-Lexus 2016 grill on a 2013 Lexus?

Frankly, I am not sure why anyone would want to do that and the thought of F Sport on a Hybrid is a bit of a head scratcher to me. I mean, hybrid and F Sport on a 300 really don't go together.

Hope you did not pay too much for it.

If you are talking about putting a grille from a 2016 or 2017 ES on a 2014 ES, while it might be theoretically possible, doing so would be ridiculously expensive. Not only would you have to replace the grille and bumper, but you would also have to replace the headlight assemblies and the fog lights because none of those parts, by themselves, would fit on the 2014. I believe that the headlight assemblies, by themselves, cost close to $2000 each. Replacing the entire front end of the vehicle with new parts would have to cost well over $5000 (and that is a very conservative guess).

And yes, not only would doing the mod have a ridiculously high cost now, but you would also be paying on the other end because you would be reducing the re-sale or trade-in value of the car. Used car buyers typically want a car that looks the same way that it did when it came out the factory. Used car managers at dealers will immediately and significantly discount their trade-in offer for a car with that kind of mod, and many used car buyers will walk away as soon as they see a car with that kind of mod done to it.

If you really want the look of the front end of the 2016 or 2017 ES, I'll be that it would be more cost effective to trade your 2014 for a 2016 than it would be to switch out the bumper, grille, headlights, and fog lights.

I had the same conversation with my dealer's parts department and they said the cost would be crazy high, on top of the workmanship needed to make the parts fit and run properly. IIRC 2016 cars get LED headlights as standard so that could be another wiring headache.

I'd just get some paint or vinyl and black out the grille.
