Navigation Question
Drove back from Seattle to Portland and gave the command "Go Home" in Seattle.
Navigation gave correct coordinates to Portland, showing map of my home.
However, the navigation voice told me to take every next exit, then would tell me to 'turn right' when the correct way (using phone navigation) and common sense was a left turn.
This is doesn't happen on NAV programs less than 20 miles.
Can this be corrected in the ES's utility set up program?

When you have a route (to anywhere) in the system you should open up the "Route" button
at the lower center of the screen. Note: your screen shot shows only "On" and "Show
on Map". Please tap "On" to open up the tools we will be discussing. "Route" only
appears when you have destination(s) and is how you adjust your setting, even
while moving. Open Route and select preferences. Be sure the Freeway and Tollway
banners are lit up. If they are not then the system will continually try to have you exit!
Other choices here are Quick, Short and Alternate. Note: Short is not synonymous with
Quick, a 5 mile freeway loop is quicker than a 3 mile stop and go route.
Another useful tool is "Mark". Even while moving you can place a Mark without typing
or talking. What to create a route variation quickly? Scale out the map, using the rocker
button in front of the Remote Controller is WAY faster than the plus/minus screen buttons.
Place cursor on road/intersection off the prescribed path, scale back in tight (pressing the
forward edge of the rocker) and tap "Mark", Select the mark and hit "Go To" and "Add to
Existing Route" Now you have pulled the route through the waypoint. Leave it to use on
the way home if desired, there is room for 100 Marks.

Great advice mcomer. Work perfectly followed your instructions to the letter by activating the freeway and tollway icons. We don't have tollbooth here on the West Coast so I didn't feel it necessary until now.
Did the route preferences and drove 20 miles outside of my home destination and navigate it home without a hitch.
Thank you again for taking time to answer my question, it was very much appreciated.
