Default 2014 ES350 rear window wouldn't close issue

Hi everyone,

Today, I found my ES350 two rear windows wouldn't close. If I press the switch button (driver side) to make the rear window be closed, the window went up, as soon as it hit the top, it will go down and stop 2/3. That means I couldn't close my rear window at all.

After tried many times, I found could only press the switch button again to make the window stop when it will hit the top.

I checked on Google and CL, most threads is about the issue for passenger side, anybody have the same issue before?
Thanks.

Are you out of the factory warranty? What was the original sale date of your 2014?

And the mileage needs to be less than 50k for the full warranty.

Nothing blocking the top left edge of the windows? I was trying to put car flags on my rear windows last month and I found that if I put the flags on the left corners the windows would go back down, I guess that's the safety trigger location. I moved my flags to the right edges and was able to close the windows fully.

The Anti-Jam feature works when the window switch is raised and released.
After checking the window tracks for debris try raising and holding the switch.
This will cause the window to rise without the Anti-Jam feature.
