Pictures of headlights at night?
I am trying to convince myself to buy a ES350 Ultra Luxury and was wondering if anyone has a picture of what the headlights look like at night from a relevant distance. Tail lights also. With the advent of the newer fancy headlights I am very curious. The Ultra is different from the standard package headlights right? Thanks in advance!

Stock headlights for all trim levels are LED low-beam, LED Daytime Running Lamps and LED tail lamps. '
The optional "HL" LED headlamps with LED high-beams require "LL" Luxury or "UL" Ultra or "PM" premium
but are not included in those trim levels. The Auto High Beam is standard now on all ES's (and RX's) for 2017
Not you original question but the Ultra does include interior Ambient lighting under the door trim line that lesser
trim levels do not have. Will post pictures after nightfall, are you interested in the pattern or the appearance to
other drivers?

I don't know how a picture will do you any good. You would really need to see it in person to know how they look. You would probably want to look at both versions, since the Bi-LEDs are an option for even the UL.
I see the ES now comes standard with LED headlights. What's the difference between them and the Bi-LEDs?

It should be noted, though, that, while both the LED low beams and the LED high beams have the "cool factor" look that appeals to many, they do not project out as far or as wide as their halogen counterparts or as well as the Xenon HID options that were available on the ES a few years ago.
If you go to the website for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, you can find testing that they did on all vehicles with various headlight options. For the ES and for other Lexus vehicles, the LEDs did not project as far or as wide do the (less expensive) halogens.
Your 2013 ES probably has the Xenon HID low beam option with halogen high beams. That is what I had on the 2013 ES that I previously owned. When I bought my 2017 ES with the optional Bi-LED lights and when I was driving it home from the dealer after dark on unlit country roads, I immediately had a perception that the LED low beams didn't project as far as did the Xenon low beams on the 2013 and that the LED high beams did not project as well as did the halogen high beams on the 2013. It was not until I saw the test results on the IIHS website that I was able to confirm that my perception was accurate. Needless to say, I was disappointed to find that the expensive headlight option that I got on my 2017 ES does not perform as well as less expensive alternatives.
For those who do their driving in well lit urban areas, the smaller area of projection for the LED lights won't make much difference, but, for those, including me, who do most of their driving on unlit and unmarked country roads, that shorter and narrower area of projection can make the difference between seeing a deer or other animal soon enough to avoid hitting it or not seeing it in time.

Dealers here close at 8pm at the latest. Gets dark around 8:30. I want to buy a loaded ES350 so I guess I will learn to live with what they have on it. I'm sure it will be nice. Thanks.

2013-2015 cars:
Low spec: halogen low beams, halogen high beams
High spec: xenon HID low beams, halogen high beams
2016+ facelift cars:
Low spec: LED low beams, halogen high beams
High spec: LED low beams, LED high beams
For urban roads, it doesn't matter if you have LEDs or halogens for high beams because the roads are lit. On rural roads, lesz is right, halogens have more reach because of the gradual reflector pattern and the yellowish light. You could go DIY and put in xenon HID high beams to replace halogens but that would probably be illegal, not to mention extremely annoying to other road users.
