Does 2017 Lexus ES 350 dashboard display change color at night like the 2014 did?
My 2014 es 350 dash display had a night mode that automatically came on at night. Changed color, etc. my new 2017 es 350 stays black and white and at same brightness which I can dim manually. Is this way it should be? Is there a night mode? Am I missing some adjustment?

What colors changed in the gauge cluster of your 2014?!? The gauges get dimmer if you have them set that way...but thats all that should have happened with the 2014 as well.

I had a 2013 ES, and I now have a 2017 ES. As far as I know, there was no "night mode" for the dash illumination on the 2013, and there is no "night mode" on the 2017.
The difference that you are seeing might be with the illumination for the ECO and Sport modes. With the 2013 ES, when driving in the ECO mode, the upper part of the dash display turned blue, and, when driving in the Sport mode, it turned red, and that blue or red illumination showed up to be much brighter when it was dark out. For the 2017 ES, the blue or red illumination for the different driving modes only shows up on a much smaller part of the lower center part of the dash display.
